Meet the Maker
The hands behind Fitch & Things
Fitch & Things Crafts is Sherry Fitch — one maker, one workbench, and a house that smells like sawdust and hot glue in the best possible way.
What started as making door hangers for her own front porch turned into requests from neighbors, then friends of neighbors, then people she'd never met asking, "could you make one with our name on it?" The answer is always yes.
Today Sherry makes wood door hangers, hand-lettered signs, wooden ornaments, wreaths, and hand-tied fleece blankets — decor for every season, made one piece at a time. Christmas is the busy season, but the workbench never really stops.
Handmade with Heart
What handmade means here
-
Made, not manufactured
Every piece starts as raw wood, fleece, or ribbon on Sherry’s workbench and is cut, painted, tied, and finished by one pair of hands.
-
No two alike
Handmade means small differences — a brushstroke here, a knot there. That’s not a flaw; that’s the signature.
-
Always another one
Nothing here is ever really sold out. If a piece finds a home before you get to it, Sherry will happily make another — or make it yours with a twist.
Want something made just for you? That's Sherry's favorite request.
